HELP

Controls

Move over a free part of any wall, floor, or ceiling. Large edges can host several rooms; point where you want the opening. The glowing edge is your starting point; the faint outline is what comes next.

Find the skeletons
Click or tap every skeleton. Each relocates after a random 1.5–4 seconds, with a new timer after every move; several can share a room. The counter tracks the fixed total. Drag or pinch to search the maze. Navigation and Help pause the round. Finding the last skeleton opens a completion popup and plays a short victory chime when sound is on. Play again starts a fresh hunt. Editing the maze starts a new round when you return.
Build / Explore
Build edits the maze. Explore lets you tap any room to place your person, without changing the drawing.
Arrow keys / directional pad
Tap a direction to walk through that side’s connection to the next room. Hold to keep going. Walls without a connection stop you. If a side has several exits, tap its gold doorway arrows to choose one. Tap another room to reposition; the center button finds your person. Drag or pinch to look around.
Drag edge to edge
Join existing rooms. Drag from a free part of a side to a free part of a facing side; release when the connection preview appears. Release away to cancel.
Touch / iPad
Tap edges to build. Drag between edges to connect. Drag room interiors to move. Drag empty space to pan; pinch with two fingers to zoom.

Build the previewed room
Click / tap a room
Randomly choose a different room type on each tap: crypt, dungeon, bedchamber, lab, library, bell tower, graveyard, swamp, cat tower, observatory, kitchen, gatehouse, study, drawing room.
Larger rooms
Stretch a room to add themed furnishings. Spacious labs gain workbenches and potion shelves; a lab with at least 32,000 square units of area reveals a scientist pouring a potion. Hover the scientist or focus/enter the room: he winces, clutches his head, and transforms into a hulking Dr. Hyde with a strained groan followed by a diabolical laugh before returning to his work.
Drawing-room piano
Tap the piano, hover the room, or enter it in Explore to hear a soft ten-second piano melody. Background music pauses for the phrase, then returns. Tap elsewhere in the room to change its type; double-tap elsewhere to edit its shape. New observatories, kitchens, gatehouses, studies, and drawing rooms have no resident characters.
Double-click / double-tap a room
Edit its shape. Drag a gold edge to resize, including connected edges. Tap outside the room or press Esc to finish. Wheel, pinch, pan and zoom buttons remain available.

Flying bats
Click or tap a bat to hear a squeak and make it disappear in a puff. New bats arrive on later flights.
Flying witch
Tap the witch to hear her cackle and send her away. She returns after 20–30 seconds.
Haunted props
Hover over a room or prop to wake it. Keyboard edge focus, double-tap shape selection, and entering a room in Explore also wake the room. Your person gives a startled hop when meeting a creature. Bells ring, skeletons rattle, mummies groan as coffins open, Dracula rises with an evil laugh, graveyard gates open to a howling werewolf, candles flare with a gentle, lingering flame rustle, potions bubble, swamp creatures rise and sink with wet bubbling sounds, and tower cats peek out with a meow. An unconnected tower has a pointed roof; connecting its ceiling turns it into a castle story. In Build, a single room tap changes its type. Sound follows the mute and volume controls.

Stairs stay near their openings; long or steep connections limit how far rooms can move. Rooms remember their own proportions, inhabitants, and details. Your drawing saves automatically in this browser. Save a file to keep it or open it elsewhere.
