UnitFlow
Draw rooms, save a template, and place it again.

A room layout with reusable pieces
UnitFlow is a browser prototype for drawing rectangular rooms and organizing them into reusable templates. The editor combines a grid canvas with an inspector listing rooms, component templates, and links. Select rooms to save a template, then use Place Instance to add a placement of that template.
The toolbar separates selection, drawing, and movement. Zoom controls and a grid toggle support working at different scales. Room geometry uses foot-based coordinates, keeping the drawing and the stored layout in the same unit system. A file name gives the arrangement an identity beyond the individual shapes.
A workflow beyond one canvas
The interface also explores publishing and linking. A publish dialog gives a design a place in a file catalog, while a link dialog provides a route to templates from another published file. These controls show a proposed sequence for turning a local arrangement into reusable material for another design.
In the public GitHub Pages build, those operations are simulated with a browser-local data store. Files, templates, and published-file records are stored in localStorage. Publishing in this demo does not make a design available to other people or establish a shared online database. That boundary is part of how to read the prototype.
Testing the relationships
The useful interaction is the movement between a room, a template, an instance, and a linked source. Each represents a different kind of reuse, and the inspector keeps the categories visible alongside the canvas. A simple two-room arrangement is enough to begin exploring those distinctions.
Open the prototype to draw rooms, select them, save a template, and place an instance. The current public version demonstrates the editing workflow and local file relationships. It should be treated as an experiment, with important work exported or otherwise backed up rather than relying on a browser's local demo storage as a project archive.
